Dr. John Wahlen
Dr. John Wahlen is a patient-centered dentist who values connection, comfort, and helping patients live free from dental pain. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Wahlen continues to expand his clinical expertise through advanced education with the Midwest Implant Institute, Whitecap Implant Institute, Ensign Academy of Dentistry, and the Utah Dental Society.
Dr. Wahlen practices general dentistry and provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages. His clinical expertise includes emergency, cosmetic, and pediatric dentistry; endodontics; crowns and bridges; veneers; fillings and bonding; inlays and onlays; dentures and partials; implant placement and restoration; extractions; teeth whitening; clear aligners including Invisalign and SureSmile; and oral surgery. He understands that dental visits can be stressful and prioritizes creating a calm, welcoming family-office environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wahlen enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his wife and two children. He is committed to continual personal and professional growth and actively seeks opportunities to volunteer and further his education. Dr. Wahlen is fluent in Spanish.
